This Cookie Policy explains how Global Connect LLC (“Global Connect,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, including globalconnectleads.com and app.globalconnectleads.com, and in the Global Connect mobile application for iPhone and iPad (the “App”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help us recognize you, remember your preferences, and improve your experience on our platform.
We also use technologies that work in a similar way:
In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.
First-party and third-party. First-party cookies are set by Global Connect. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use, and that company can read them when you visit other sites that use the same service.
Session and persistent. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
Required for the platform to function. These enable core features such as account login, session management, load balancing, fraud prevention, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies, and blocking them in your browser will break parts of the platform, including your ability to stay signed in.
Remember your preferences and settings — such as language, saved filters, lead criteria, and dashboard layout — to provide a personalized experience. The platform still works without them, but it will not remember your choices.
Help us understand how users interact with the platform: which pages are visited most, which features are used, where errors occur, and where improvements are needed. We use this information on an aggregated basis to improve the product.
Used to measure the performance of our advertising, to show you Global Connect ads on other websites and platforms, and to limit how often you see the same ad. These may be set by third-party advertising partners and may involve tracking your activity across websites. You can opt out of marketing cookies at any time as described in Section 4.
The App does not use browser cookies the way a website does. It uses similar technologies stored on your device:
The App does not use your information to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. It does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt. See Section 8.5 of our Privacy Policy.
You can clear the data the App stores on your device by signing out or by removing the App. Removing the App does not delete your account; see Section 8.8 of our Privacy Policy.
Cookie preferences. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit our website, and change your choice at any time through the cookie preferences link in our website footer.
Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings menu. Blocking essential cookies will affect platform functionality.
Global Privacy Control. Our website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.
Advertising opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through industry tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative, and through the ad and privacy settings of individual advertising platforms.
Mobile. Manage App permissions and notifications in your device settings, as described in Section 8.7 of our Privacy Policy.
Email pixels. Set your email client to block remote images to stop most email tracking pixels from loading.
Some cookies are placed by third-party services we use, including analytics providers, advertising networks, payment processors, hosting and security providers, and customer support tools. These companies set their own cookies and handle the data they collect under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review those policies.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, using advertising cookies that enable cross-context behavioral advertising may be treated as “sharing” personal information, even where no money changes hands. Global Connect does not sell personal information. California residents may opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising by rejecting marketing cookies in our cookie preferences, by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or by contacting privacy@globalconnectleads.com. See the California Privacy Rights section of our Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as described in our Privacy Policy.
